Adhesives have color in them for several reasons, which include identification
and cure status. Some adhesives have color allowing the user to identify the
area of application, but then the colors disappears when the compound cures.
Developing the special dyes in adhesive compounds that react to temperature,
cure and the surface on which the adhesive is applied is best left to experienced
color engineers such as those found in-house at Pylam. Pylam can help you determine
your adhesive colors from the earliest stages of your product development.
