General Description: Water soluble dye from the Triphenylmethane family of colorants.  This dye is commonly used for the coloration of industrial cleaning products, soaps and detergents, and for coloring nylon, wool, silk, paper, inks, anodized aluminum, and leather.  The dye is also used in semi-permanent hair dyes, color depositing shampoos and conditioners.
